Little Spouse on the Prairie

"Little Spouse on the Prairie"  has been a favorite column of Texas Agriculture readers since its first appearance in the newspaper in 1991. Lana's happy trails and far-fetched tales have reminded many of our members of their own adventures on the farm...and some of them even find similarities between Mel and their own husbands.

To contact Lana or inquire about her book, The Best of Little Spouse on the Prairie—a collection of 40 humor columns, including Lana's excursions with her husband, Mel, in Ol' Green" and their scrapes with "Homer the Bull''; her clever "Agricabulary," and "Tawkin' Texun"; plus "Hog Killin' Time," "Help, My Husband's Gone Haywire!" and other witty ditties not on the web—e-mail her at lrobinson@txfb.org
